Golf is often considered to be a mental game. The question is, "How can massage therapy care help me mentally during a round of golf?"

Although a golfer may not be troubled with an injury or muscle tightness which would normally affect his golf swing, he/she could definitely benefit from massage therapy care. Massage therapy allows the golfer not to worry about muscle problems during his/her swing, because the therapy gives him/her a state of well-being which allows the golfer to stay relaxed. Being relaxed and feeling good allows one to play better without self-distraction. Massage therapy is a great mental tool for optimal production.

Professional, as well as amateur athletes, have used massage therapy for years in order to increase and improve their performance. Using specific muscle massage techniques will help them recover from their injuries or loosen tight muscles, and/or recover from any strenuous workouts or competitions. Athletes also use massage therapy care just to feel better. And, when an athlete feels better mentally, he or she will produce better results during his or her sports participation.
