The River Club is considered one of the more challenging layouts in the area and yet is playable to all levels of the game with several tees to choose from. With plenty of fairway mounding, undulating greens and thick native forest, The River Club isn’t your typical Florida layout. For the discriminating golfer who prefers a challenge, this pristine Ron Garl- designed 18-hole championship golf course is every bit as beautiful as it is challenging. To add to the playability of the golf course, last year in the summer of 2007 the Ron Garl-designed 18-hole championship golf course incorporated all new state-of-the-art Jones Dwarf greens. Located near the popular destination of Sarasota in Bradenton, The River Club is open to the public seven days a week.

Nice setup for an older course, greens were a little sketchy.

A reasonable track but certainly not one of the nicest courses we played. Still it beat shovelling snow.

Very challenging course from the back tees. Course wasn't the best conditions, however it was very natural (not fabricated) and a great test of golf.

We found the River Club to be very enjoyable. The course was challenging and the pricing was fair.
