Parkland Golf Club is located in northern Broward County-easily accessible from Ft. Lauderdale or Boca Raton. With three distinct zones of low hammock, cypress swamp and pine flatland, WCI, the builders of other famed golf courses as Tiburon and Hammock Bay, used wall-to-wall Sea-Dwarf Paspalum grass on all tees, greens, fairways and practice areas to ensure proper drainage no matter what the weather conditions-perfect for year round play. Parkland Golf Club is a private facility designed by Greg Norman. Dedicated to preserving the traditions of golf, the club conforms to Audubon International Gold Signature Sanctuary criteria. This 7,100 yard layout, with bonus 19th "challenge" hole, is reminiscent of Australia's great “sand-belt” links. Due to the wetland marshes and numerous ponds, water comes into play on several holes but the course is fairly flat and open.

If you can afford the 2 bills, this is the best course I've ever played in S. FLA, including Doral. Best Greens, and a great mix of challenging and scenic holes. Looks like Mr. Norman had an open checkbook to build this one. The starter was super nice and helpful in getting us a replay.

A very good and interesting course. One of the best courses you can play in the area.
