It’s at Hidden Hills where Jacksonville folks remember the great victories of Gary Player, Tony Jackson and Don January in the Greater Jacksonville Open, the forerunner to today’s Tournament Players Championship. And it’s Hidden Hills where a great golf course was made even better in 1986 when it was redesigned by Arnold Palmer. One of its many signature holes-the mammoth par 5 eleventh plays at 612 yards from the tips! It starts simple enough with a wide fairway that rolls downhill, but ends with a spectacular island green that will be a challenge just to hit in reg. This private gem is a must play when in Jacksonville!s very convenient to the airport. With rolling "mogul-filled" Bermuda fairways, and
very large, undulating Bermuda greens, the layout boasts some of the most unique, hilly terrain in Florida with various degrees of elevation throughout. Fairways are heavily bordered by a multitude of
native trees. Pristine atmosphere with some of that "old world charm" and class in their clubhouse and dining room.
Built in 1966 on an ancient sand dune that every so often yields prehistoric shark teeth as evidence of a past life, Hidden Hills Country Club is steeped in tradition as one of the finest and most challenging golf courses in the South.

Beautiful layout. The fairways were a little brown due to a no seeding policy in winter .I played in March.I would play this course again but later in the year.

Course was in okay shape, but I think the overall experience would be much better in the spring/summer/fall months of the year when it was green and the trees had leaves.
