Local designer Bobby Weed and PGA Tour Design Services were brought in to create the Slammer & Squire Course at World Golf Village, while golf legends Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen were brought onboard as player consultants. The did just that by adding large, undulating greens and tree lined fairways that look challenging but are very fair; including five sets of tees so everyone in the group can play a great round. Bordered by wetland preserve and wildlife habitat, The Slammer & Squire is located in St. Augustine, minutes from the World Golf Hall of Fame. This legendary golf course meanders through native hardwood hammocks and is nestled into the existing surroundings. With all this wetland, water comes into play on several holes for this par-72 track.

A visit to the World Golf Village wouldn’t be complete without playing a round on the The King and Bear, a combo that will have you feel like you are walking among the legends.
